Ms. Nicole homeschools her daughters ages 14 & 16 using the unschooling method. She owns a succesful Montessori microschool in Talent, OR. where she directs and operates a preschool and lower elementary program. Nicole received her AMS Montessori credential in 2014 and has completed extensive study in Early Childhood Education. Nicole is passionate about creating respectful and beautiful spaces for young children to thrive. Nicole loves to be a part of the alternative education opportunities in the Rogue Valley. She firmly believes that children learn best when they take charge of their own education using real life experiences to learn about about their world.

Ms. Harmony began her journey of working with children at Willowind community learning center, assisting in the kindergarten. After having two children of her own (now 14 and 18) she began to teach a private children’s yoga program in Williams.  Harmony joined the Siskiyou Waldorf school faculty in 2020 and assisted in grades 2-8 th grade. Through her work with  young children, she developed a deep understanding of the importance of  play, fostering imagination, social interactions and what is essential  for setting a healthy foundation for later academics.  Harmony’s innate gentle presence consistently provides a warmth and comfort to the little ones in her care.
